There are no offers at the moment
We would rather say that plainly than leave a page of expired deals for you to wade through. Bookmark this page and come back when you are buying something. When a manufacturer gives us a discount to pass on to readers, it appears here.
What will appear here: reader discounts and codes given to us by manufacturers, and occasionally links that earn us a small commission. Which one each is gets said plainly, every time. Anything with a deadline shows its deadline, and when it expires it gets removed rather than left to rot.
What we recommend, whatever the deals
Offers come and go. What does not change is what we would buy ourselves. That is decided by the gear guides, not by whoever offers the best terms this month:
- What Home Networking Gear to Buy at Every Budget - the whole setup at three price points.
- How to Buy a Router Without Wasting Money - what the numbers on the box do and do not mean.
- Modems, Routers and Switches: What Each Box Does - before you buy the wrong one.
- Mesh Wi-Fi Explained - when mesh helps and when it is money wasted.
- Ethernet Cabling, Done Yourself - the cheapest real upgrade in home networking.
- Wi-Fi Extenders vs Mesh vs Powerline - which of the three actually fixes a dead spot.
You will notice there are no prices on this page, and that is deliberate. Prices change, they vary by country, and a stale number would be worse than none. The guides above carry what matters and hold up over time; the retailer has the current figure.
How this page works
- Nothing here is paid placement. A manufacturer cannot buy a place on this page. The buying guides are written before we know whether anyone is offering a discount on any of it.
- Anything that earns us money says so. If a link earns us a commission, it is labelled, and you never pay more for using it. The full explanation is on our affiliate disclosure page.
- Offers expire, and this page gets edited. If you find a code here that does not work, tell us and it comes down.
If you are reading the book, this is the page it points to. The book cannot carry offers, because a printed page cannot be updated - so it points here instead.
